Here's Ty!!

So much has happened this past year and we have so much to be thankful for! For starters our little Ty was born in Oct. He has been such a blessing. What a little sweetie. He is such a little cuddle bug and I LOVE it. It has been a busy busy busy 3 months with having my babies only 13 months apart. Honestly I feel like a crazy women most days but its fun too. I have learned to just laugh at all the craziness. They are going to be such good buddies. Kaden has been such a good brother. He gets really concerned when Ty is upset. He loves to give Ty hugs and recently I caught him kissing him on the mouth. Ha! Ha! That one will have to stop cause I'm a germ-a-phobe. Ty is now smiling and gooing like crazy. He is such a happy baby. He is a pretty good sleeper, loves to nurse, and loves his mommy. I'm forever amazed at the miracle and blessing it is to have children. Being a mom has brought me more joy, tears, stress, and love into my life than I ever imagined. I am so thankful to my Heavenly Father for the blessing of my baby boys. Love them more than anything! Kaden is such a good big brother. He loves Ty so much . When we wakes up in the morning the first thing he does is check on Ty. This is his "O" face. He does this when he gets excited about something.

This little guy makes me smile!! Kaden is such a happy baby. He laughs, smiles, and seriously loves life!! He is now 5 months. He rolls like crazy! Loves to sleep on his belly( totally makes me nervous but I can't stop him from rolling onto his belly in the middle of the night). Loves bathtime and to be naked! He talks, screams and then laughs at himself! I love it! I think he has his Daddy's playful personality. Lucky little man cause his daddy is the best!

Kaden is doing so good! He is such a great sleeper ( thank heavens for a while there it was rough)! He is now 3 MONTHS old! Brian weighed him the other day and he is now 14 pounds! He is my chubby boy! We love are little man more than anything. He makes us smile and laugh everyday. My mom always said seeing your babies is like waking up on Christmas morning everyday and I would have to agree! He has brought us so much happiness and joy! Being a mom is the best job in the whole world! I have to admit it was really tough at first and nobody ever tells you how hard it really is. All you moms out there know how physically and emotionally exhausting it can be but those smiles and laughs are what keep you going! I never knew my body could give so much and my heart could be so full of love! This week is Thanksgiving and must say I am most thankful for my husband, son , and family! I feel so blessed to have such amazing people in my life! I am forever grateful to my heavenly father for blessing me with an amazing husband and for blessing us with a beautiful baby boy! As you can see my heart is full!!

So this year my sister Abbie and our friend Britnie both drew big bull tags. The lucky ducks! These girls are both babes and they love to hunt! Britnie shot hers opening morning and Abbie shot hers Monday morning. I did not get the chance to go with them cause little Kaden is only 1 month old, but we took a few trips up and hung out at our cabin. Here are a few pictures of the hunt. Heres our story!! I had my membranes stripped on Monday 23 and immediatley began having contractions. Around 9:00 that night my contractions totally just pittered out so I thought dang not tonight. Then around 10:00 I started contracting again super hard and really painful! So of course we timed them until about midnight and they were anywhere between 2 min to 8 min apart. So I did not know what to do I had been sent home the night before when I thought it was time, so I was so hesitant to go back. I took a hot shower and pretty much did everything to see if they would stop but nope they just kept getting more painful. Finally I could not take the pain anymore and we headed in.

We made it to the hospital super quick and by then my contractions were about 2-3 min apart. Ya I was thankful we decided to head in cause by that time I could not walk through a contraction! When we got to Labor and Delivery they did the usually checking and I was only dilated to a 1. Talk about frustrating! I was in so much dang pain and only a a 1. I told my nurse to tell my doctor I was not leaving unless I had a baby. My mom always said Labor was painful but you don't realize it until you experience it yourself. Anyway they decided to keep me! We were on our way to getting Kaden here! They gave me an epidural and started me on pitocin. Epidurals are the best!!

At about 8:00 am my doctor came to check on me. I was dilated to a 4 so he decided it was time to break my water. And thats when it all started. When he broke my water they realized I was also bleeding inside. The babies heart rate took a dive. They laid me on my side and put oxygen on me and put some internal monitors on the baby. I could tell my their actions and faces they were really concerned. His heart came back up for about 5 min and then it took another dive into the 50s. The next thing I new lots of doctors and nurses were rushing around unhooking me from everything and wheeling me down the hall for an emergency C-section. I never felt to helpless and scared. I remember praying and asking Heavenly Father to get please help Kaden to get here safely. It felt like a dream. My good friend Dani was one of my nurses and I was so thankful she was there. I just remember she kept telling me evverything was going to ok. She taught miamaids with me and I always admire here for her strong testimony and faith! I remember asking her to say here prays also. So glad she was there!

Any ways to make a long intense story short Kaden was born! It only took them 5 min to get him out. I heard him cry once and then nothing. The doctors worked on him. He was intubated and then wisked away to the newborn ICU. Apparently I had had a partial placental abruption which caused the bleeding. And then when my water broke Kadens cord got pinched between the birth canal and his shoulder. So that's what caused all the drama.

We were so impressed by the skilled hands of the doctors and nurses who worked so fast to get him here safely. My doctor and the rest of the team were awesome! I am so thankful to them and for there quick action. I also am most thankful to my Heavenly father for watching over my baby and for helping him to get healthy so we could bring him home. I know that he comforted Bri and I as we watched our little one in the Nicu. Heavenly Father answers prays, I know that for sure.

Brian through this whole ordeal was my rock. I was really emotional about Kaden's rough start and Bri was always there to hear me cry and comfort me.

Kaden spent a total of 5 days in the newborn ICU. Because of the fluid he inhaled he got a case of pneumonia. Our little boy was so strong. They told us he would be there for about 2 weeks and he only was there 5 days. We are so grateful that we have been blessed with such a special little spirit. We love our little boy more than anything!!

Kaden such a sweetie and we can't get enough of him! He is a little angel during the day and then at night he thinks its party time! Hopefully we can get that turned around soon so we can get some sleep. Being a parent is a lot harder than I ever thought but so rewarding! It makes me so thankful for my mom and dad who continuously sacrificed for us still does to this day. You guys are the best mom and dad! Love you!

Alive and Still Pregnant!

Wow! I am the worst blogger ever! Well things are going great! I am still pregnant 2 days away from being 40 weeks infact! If you would have asked me a month ago if I would still be pregnant now I would have said no way! I started contracting pretty good and regular around 34 weeks and then it all just stopped and now nothing is going on! So here I am 40 weeks and by the looks of things I am going to go 41 weeks!

I must say for being as far along as I am I am feeling pretty dang good just super anxious to meet our little guy! If I don't start into labor this week than I will be induced on Aug 27 or 28. Yahoo! So he will be here in 10 days or less. It's nice when you can finally see the end of the tunnel.

This pregnancy has been overall not too bad besides the normal discomfort and morning sickness. I have some friends who are labor and delivery nurses so I have used then on numerous occasions with my endless questions and worries. I am so thankful to my heavenly father for helping me with this pregnancy and to control my worries. I still have had my melt downs but overall I have done pretty good. I have to just remember to put my trust in the Lord!

We Have a Baby On The Way!!

I am about 141/2 weeks along. We are so excited words can't explain!

Things are going really good. During the first semester the toilet and I were

best of friends( Gotta love morning sickness)! But I'm feeling lots better!

There has been many prayers for this for a long time! We feel so blessed

and can't wait for the baby to get here!! YAHOO!

Nebraska!!

This past week we've been in Omaha, Nebraska visiting my brothers family and hunting white tail deer. We had such a blast. My brother, the mighty white hunter, shot a nice 10 point buck. We hunted both the bow hunt and the rifle hunt. My cousin Tyler is serving his mission in Omaha so we had the chance to have dinner with him and his companion. It was so fun to see him in missionary mode.Thanks Joel and Maranda for letting us stay at your place! We had so much fun and can't wait to do it again next year!

A Whole Lotta Summer!

This summer has flown by! It been a summer full of fun and some tears! We have been so busy with life sometimes I feel like we have to stop to catch our breath. To start off my brother and his family came into town for the summer. It was so fun to have them around. My niece Kamryn is so full of life. She is so precious I can't get enough of her.

July was a little rocky for us. To start off we had to put our good old Belle dog down.I didn't think it would be as hard was it was. I seriously loved that Dog! When you have a dog for 16 years they become one of the family.

Then to finish it off I had a miscarriage that through us for a loop!!We have been trying for a year and half so it was kind of a big blow!I know what it like to have broken heart. But through it all I have learned what it means to truely trust in the Lord! I know that he has a plan, it might be different then ours but we have to have faith. I am so thankful for loving families that have encouraged us and been there to lean on their faith. I swear everytime I had a downer moment my brother Joel, my mom, or someone in the family would call us to talk. My husband Bri has been my rock. His strength amazes me and I am so thankful I have him to lean on.He seriously had to pick up the pieces. He is the most amazing hunsband. He has been so patient with my rollercoaster emotions and I love him more than anything! I know the Lord will bless us with a baby when the time is right!! Until then I am doing my best to wait patiently!!
On a more positive note we have has some awesome times too!! We went to California with my family and had a blast! Every other year we go to San Diego and hang out on the beach, go deep sea fishing, watch some baseball games, and do some killer shopping! It has become a family tradition.

I'm Back to the Blogging World

We have a new member of the Taylor family! My brother Joel and his wife Maranda had their first baby in Jan. She is absolutely beautiful! We had the chance to go out to Omaha Nebraska to visit them and meet Baby Kamryn! It was so much fun! It was so neat to see how proud Joel and Maranda are of their precious little one( and she is so precious)! Babies are truely a gift from Heaven and I can't wait till its my turn!

While we were out there we visited the Nebraska temple and the pioneers winter quarters. It was really neat to learn more about the pioneers and the trials they went through. It is amazing what they endured. They had such great faith.

Quick Update!

Hey everyone! It has been a while! Here is a little update on the goings in the Cole household( Sorry no Pictures I forgot my camera)! This past conference weekend our whole Rasmussen family when up to Stein Erikson lodge. We had such a blast! We shopped, went swimming, ate non stop, and of course listened to conference. Conference was so wonderful! We are so blessed to have a living prophet on this earth today to lead and guide us. I loved the talks especially the one Pres. Monson gave on focusing on today and not worring about the tomorrow! He helped me to remember to go forward with faith and gratitude. I have been so caught up in the whole worrying about the economy mess and the elections that I seriously give myself anxiety! So Pres. Monson talk gave me great comfort! The Lord truely knows what each of us needs! I am so thankful for my Savior and the blessing the church is in my life!

I recently recieved a new job as a CT Tech in radiology! Yahoo! I am way excited! I start Oct 13! I am a little nervous cause it is such a step up but I know with the Lord's help I can do it. This is what I have been going to school for so this is such a blessing!

This is kind of a late post but about a month ago our whole family went up to deer valley to spend the weekend. We stayed at Stein Erickson Lodge. Seriously if your ever get the chance to stay there DO IT! It is a beautiful up there and the rooms rock! Everyone up there treats you like royalty! While up there we rode the coaster, went swimming, ate tonz of food, and just hung out! I love hanging with the family!

This past weekend my some friends of ours and my Dad all when up to our cabin for a good old weekend of hunting! Yes, the bow hunt has started and for anyone that knows me or Bri then you know we love this time of year! I just love being in the mountains with my family! Back in June we went down to HavisuePie in Arizona. It is the most beautiful oasis is the middle of the Grand Canyon. There was about 65 of us including family and friends! Talk about a party! It is a 9 hour drive down and then a 10 mile hike in. It was so worth it! It might have been the best workout I've had in a long time. There were three waterfalls we visited. Each one was beautiful. We were able to jump off waterfalls, go on the rope swing, swim, and of course hike our buns off! The water is so blue it is amazing.It was really a trip I will never forget! We are planning a trip next yea if any one wants to go!

Two Years!

This past Saturday was our two year anniversary. We went and bought ourselves an entertainment center and went to dinner. These past two years has for sure flown by. I am so thankful for this amazing man in my life. He brings so much happpiness and laughter into my life. Seriously, not a day goes by that he does not make me laugh. He is kind, humble, works hard, loves life, and most importantly he loves the gospel. Happy Anniversary Bri! Love You!

Ok, so our cruise was such a blast! Are stops were at Cabo, Mazatlan, and Peurto Vallarta. We went snorkling, four wheeling, parasailing, and played on the beaches. The best part about the whole trip was being with the family. There were 23 of us all together. It was a total party! We ate like big dogs, laughed, and enjoyed every minute of it. I just want to thank my Mom and Dad for taking us on such a memorable and fun trip. You two are the best, love you guys!

Ok we took the dive! We bought our first home! We are so excited. It is so nice to have a place of your own to decorate and to call home. I was nervous about having to pay a mortgage but sooner or later everyone has to do it. My Dad told me to go forward with faith! And that's exactly what we did. We are so happy! Having a mortgage is not as bad as I thought it would be!
